Blueberry Pie Moonshine Recipe – Everclear




 

Blueberry Pie Moonshine

 

Ingredients:

 
1/2 of a 750ml bottle of 190 proof Everclear (more or less depending on how strong you want this, a half bottle is pretty potent)

1/2 cup of Vanilla Whipped Vodka – (Option — substitute 2 Tablespoons of Vanilla if you don’t want to use the Vodka)

1 can of Blueberry Pie Filling

1 cup of Brown Sugar – ( Option – You can use white sugar – it will taste more like juice instead of tasting like blueberry pie)

1/2 gallon of Blueberry Juice

1 or 2 tubs of Blueberries

5 Cinnamon Sticks
 

Directions:

 
In a large pot – pour in the juice, then put in cinnamon sticks, and whole blueberries

Bring this to a slow simmer

Once this is simmering, add the brown sugar and blueberry pie filling. Cook this on simmer for about a half hour (30 minutes)

Turn the heat off once the blueberries are soft and the sugar is dissolved

Let cool to room temperature

Once cool, add the Everclear and the Vodka – Stir

Pour into jars — ( you can strain the blueberries out, but leaving them in is great also. This is completely up to you!!!)

Store in the refrigerator or cool place

Let sit for at least a week – the longer it sits the better it is
